The academy:

PAYMENT

  • All bookings must be made in advance and a receipt will be issued once the deposit is received.

  • Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of full payment.

  • Course fees, deposits and other payments are non-refundable or transferable in the event of the student being unable to attend a course.

  • A minimum deposit of 50% of the course cost is required to secure a place on a course.

  • Payment must be made in full a week before the course commences.

  • All models are required to pay £10 per person in advance before their time slot and this payment is non-refundable.

REFUNDS

  • If you have to leave the course for any reason you will not be entitled to a full or part refund of fees paid, nor will you be automatically entitled to an alternative course.

  •  Refunds are only available for any courses where the course venue, dates or times are changed by Concept Beauty Academy.

  • Refunds will not be given for any costs incurred, including loss of earnings, any loss of time, any travel costs, any accommodation costs and/or any other expenses if a course is cancelled or needs to be re-arranged by Concept Beauty Academy.

GENERAL

  • All purchases of kits and products are non-refundable or exchangeable.

  • Students must be prepared to work on others and have others work on them.

  • Students must be prepared to bring models in for practical assessments if required.

  • All applicants must be 16 years of age or over.

  • Students must be dressed in appropriate beauty uniform or in a presentable manner with minimal jewellery and long hair must be tied back.

  • Students are responsible to bring their own lunch.

  • Refreshments will be available throughout each day of the course.

  • Concept Beauty Academy operates a non-smoking policy in accordance to the current public smoking laws.

  • Prior to the Lash and Brow course you will be required to have a skin test at least 24 hours before the course commences. You are responsible for ensuring you have had this test either at a beauty salon/spa or at the Academy.

Full terms and conditions will be sent prior to the start of each course or by email on request.

The salon:

TREATMENT CANCELLATION

  • Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the treatment amount.

  • "No shows" will be charged 100% of the treatment amount. 

 

GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Vouchers are only valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • Lost vouchers will not be replaced.

  • Change will be given back in vouchers and not in cash.

  • Any reactions to previous treatments

  • Skin test results if this was something you were required to have

WHEN DO WE COLLECT THE INFORMATION?

We collect your information when you complete a Client Consultation Form or a Skin Test Form in person at the salon / academy or by social media - Facebook or Twitter.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

  • To send periodic emails or texts regarding new treatments, special offers or any changes happening at Concept Beauty Academy

  • To confirm you are suitable to receive a particular treatment

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

All information is kept confidential and is never shared with a third party. All written consent forms are locked away and contact numbers are stored in a locked mobile telephone. Email addresses are stored in a secure programme. 

All transactions are either processed via Sum Up a card payment provider and card details are not stored or processed by us or payment is made direct by the customer via BACS.
